How it Works
This exercise is popular with many singers. You’ll learn how to control a steady stream of supported airflow. Do not burst, strain or push. As you go into the head voice, watch Voixman to model the pelvic press.

"As a previously classically trained vocalist with a sustained career in music throughout my adult life, I recently began looking for new training and new techniques that would challenge me as an artist and as a performer. I had heard of Ron Anderson and his methods of teaching throughout my career and decided to meet with him and begin training my voice in more efficient ways through his guidance. During a recent session with him in Los Angeles, I was privileged to be introduced to a new cutting edge, virtual reality training technology that he and his team have been developing, centered around his expertise. I was blown away and could not wait for the actual release of the downloadable app. The day has finally arrived, and I was one of the first in line to purchase and have been using it each day to train and warmup prior to shows. This app is well worth the money for me due to not being able to physically meet with Ron as much as I would like due to my increased schedule and number of daily performances. However, thanks to the Voixtek VR app, I have one of the greatest minds in vocal training, in the convenience of my phone. Nothing beats a face to face lesson, but when that simply is not possible, this groundbreaking technology far exceeds my expectations and delivers in every way. I am proud to endorse and recommend the Voixtek VR App by Ron Anderson."

"Innovative, creative, and priceless. Ron Anderson is possibly the most sought after vocal coach alive for the most famous mainstream singers and bands. Getting access to his teaching and technique style is not only already priceless, but to be taught with this innovative and creative system is really quite revolutionary. Awesome."

"I am not a person who goes out and sings but it's something I love to do. Music has been a major part of my life since I was born. This application it’s crazy good. takes what I love to do as a hobby and helps me hone in on it, helps me control how I use it. I recommend this for every person that just wants to learn how to sing or to practice."

"It’s so crazy how the Universe works with the synchronicity. Today I recorded a story (but not published) but I talked about that: breath Sing the mantras (Krishna Das is my favorite singer) Sing the mantras with the attention in the breath. People don’t know how Powerful it is. It’s amazing therapy to the body and soul."
"Ron Anderson thanks very much for your excellent explanation. I have used different exercises to “trigger” the sensation, but in a song I usually have a caprino happening (I have a long uvula, maybe that’s why), and I have to consciously yawn into the sound to let the vibrato flow. Love your videos, especially the high note one, that one is such a great tip, and it really works well :0)"
"Ron, Ron, he’s the man!! Priceless insight on the gift that keeps on giving, thanks for all that you do!"
"Phenomenal article! Thanks for posting this, Ron. Also, quick PSA for everyone: in case you weren’t aware, the Voixtek app is a game changer. Seriously. It’s awesome. That is all!"
